Simon H.T. Tan
Simon Tan, an Advocate and Solicitor since 1990, specialises in a wide range of commercial litigation areas. His extensive experience includes corporate contractual disputes, directors' duties, corporate insolvency, defamation, property disputes, trusts, probate, and more.
Simon's career began as a shipping and general litigation lawyer at Godwin & Co. He then spent six years at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in shipping and commercial litigation. In 2003, he co-founded Attorneys Inc. LLC with Shirley Lourdes.

Catherine Hanam brings over 30 years of legal expertise, specialising in Commercial and Corporate Law and Real Estate. Shirley P Lourdes
Shirley Lourdes specialises in banking, corporate finance, commercial law, and shipping. She handles legal work related to loan syndications, debentures, mortgages, shipping vessel sales, franchises, joint ventures, and other agreements.
Professional Background
With 30 years of legal practice, Shirley holds a Master's Degree in International Business Law and Banking Law from the USA. She began her commercial litigation career at Arthur Loke & Partners, gaining four years of experience before joining Assomull & Partners, where she focused on banking and commercial law.
Career Highlights:
Shirley established herself as a reliable solicitor during her three years at Khattar Wong & Partners, specialising in Banking Law. There, she represented HSBC in a multi-hundred-million-dollar loan syndication and played an instrumental role in several property developments for major developers.
Shipping and International Transactions
Throughout her career, Shirley has handled sales of completed vessels and new buildings, each valued at several million dollars, with buyers from the Bahamas, Panama, Indonesia, and Spain. She effectively negotiated with buyers and their lawyers from these countries.
Banking and Finance Expertise:
Shirley has represented banks and financial institutions such as HSBC, UOB, DBS Bank, ABN Bank, OUB, and Keppel Bank in large loan and mortgage transactions. She has also been appointed by Indover Bank in the Netherlands for shipping vessel loan syndications and has advised regional institutions such as Tamara Bank, Indonesia. Additionally, she acts for individual clients and corporations in property sales and purchases.
Shirley has served as a paymaster for commercial transactions involving multiple currencies, including United States Dollars and Euros.
Teaching and Mentorship:
In addition to her legal practice, Shirley has taught banking law at the Institute of Banking and Finance (affiliated with Monash University of Australia) and teaches commercial law at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and Temasek Polytechnic.

Albert Teo
With over 29 years in legal practice, Albert has handled a wide range of matters, including real estate transactions, civil litigation, family law, insolvency, and corporate affairs.
Real Estate Expertise: Albert’s real estate expertise encompasses a diverse clientele, including developers, banks, individual buyers, and sellers.
